Studio culture

An all-inclusive safe space

Leave the stress at the door. Be kind, courteous and respectful. This studio is everyone's sanctuary. We have zero tolerance for disruptive, abusive or discriminatory behavior based on race, religion, sexual preference or identity; it means removal from classes, events and workshops, with no refund.

Before your first class

Who can take classes?

Anyone 18 or older. Intro to Pole and some beginner classes are 18+; higher-level classes are 19+. If you're pregnant or have a medical condition, check with your doctor before participating.

Is there a weight limit?

Everyone is welcome to dance and do pole moves. For climbing the pole, the maximum capacity is 350 lbs.

I've never done pole. Can I still take classes?

Absolutely, no experience required. Start with beginner-friendly classes in any order. One Intro to Pole class doesn't mean you're ready for Level 1; for your safety, book advanced classes only when your instructor recommends you.

I'm out of shape. Can I participate?

Yes. Coming consistently builds muscle, stamina and flexibility. Between pole classes, book Flex 'N Stretch or another flexibility class to support your progress.

What should I wear?

Comfortable, fitted athletic clothes: shorts, a sports bra or tank. Skin contact is what grips the pole, so no long sleeves, leggings or lotion, and no nudity or undergarments-only.

What should I bring?

Water, a small hand towel, black socks and personal hygiene products.

Can I wear shoes in class?

Only in heels classes. All other pole and fitness classes are barefoot or in black socks.

Booking & policies

Can I book a class for a friend on my account?

No. Everyone creates their own account and books their own classes.

What's the cancellation policy?

Cancel at least 8 hours before class (or your waitlist spot) in your account to keep your credit. Inside 8 hours, there's no refund or credit. We've paid the instructor and held your spot.

What if the studio cancels?

Classes need 3 students; with fewer, a class may be cancelled 2 hours before start and you get class credit. In an emergency we'll reschedule. Keep your phone and email up to date so you get the notice.

Do you give refunds?

No refunds after purchase. Read the class or pass description and expiry before booking. Cancel early and you can use your pass for another class or event of the same value before it expires.

How early or late can I arrive?

Doors open 5 minutes before class and class starts promptly. There's no entry once class is 15 minutes in. The warm-up prevents injuries.

Can visitors come to watch?

No. For everyone's comfort and safety there are no spectators, children or pets. Friends who are curious should take a class themselves!

What's the private lesson cancellation policy?

Cancel 24 hours ahead to reschedule. Late arrivals, cancellations inside 8 hours and no-shows aren't eligible for a refund or credit.

The studio

How big are the classes?

We have 8 poles. Classes run from 2 to 16 students; when more than 8 book, you'll share poles. A great way to make friends.

What kind of poles do you have?

Gold chrome, 45 mm.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes. Good for any class, service or merch, and they expire 6 months after purchase. Find them in the SNS store.

Where do I park?

Arrive early for street parking or use the 2-hour metered spots nearby. We're on the 3rd floor of 840 Flatbush Ave at Linden Blvd.
